The historic garden has trees that are 200 to 600 years old, of which a few were part of an Elizabethan walled garden. You can find remains of these walls everywhere on the grounds. The "Folley" is ideally suited for children to have their fantasies run wild.
The formal garden is now designed by the "lady of the manor" in the Edwardian style with its solar circle, babbling brook, pond and greenhouse.
Remains of a Roman wall and even prehistoric burial mounds tell us the importance of this sacred site by the centuries. Seven acres of nature surrounded by fascinating surroundings guarantee an exceptional peace and tranquillity. Relaxing and unwinding comes naturally.
